Food Mood Monday: Mac n' Cheese



Here is my  version of mac n cheese, I recreate my own recipe every now and then just to make it simple and easy for everyone to do :)

I used:

*elbow macaroni
*1 can evaporated milk
*1/2 stick of butter
*1 tsp cayenne pepper
*2 tsp flour
*cheddar cheese
*bread crumbs

1. Place your elbow macaroni in hot boiling water,add a pinch of salt and cook according to package instruction, set aside.
2.Melt butter, save at least 1/4 for topping later on, add 2 tsp flour and whisk thoroughly until melted, add evaporated milk gradually, and continue whisking.
3 As soon as the mixture becomes a tad bit thick, add the cheddar cheese, once it gets creamy and thick then mix up the cooked macaroni.
4. Place in a pan, mix butter with bread crumbs and use it as toppings, add more cheese as desired as well as nachos/bacon bits.
5. Serve as is, or place it in the oven for at least 5 minutes.
